Which connector or charge dock does my electric car have?
Find out which dock, plug or connector your electric car uses. What's the difference between J1772 / type 1 and Type 2 Mennekes?
Some electric cars such as Nissan and Outlander can DC fast charge using Chademo while others such as Hyundai, BMW and Tesla use the CCS2 standard.

Standard AC Charging - Up to 22Kw
Type 1:
J1772 - Up to 7.6kw or 40km per hour connected - Typically used on Mitsubishi, Nissan, Toyota and some BMW vehicles.​


Type 2:
Mennekes - Up to 22kw or 120km per hour connected. Typically used for Tesla, Renault, Hyundai, Volvo and some BMW models.
Rapid DC Charging - Up to 350kw
Chademo:
Typically used on Mitsubishi, Nissan and Toyota models.

CCS Combo:
Typically used on Volkswagen, BMW, Ford and Hyundai vehicles.
