Introduced to Australia and NZ in 2017, this was the first new electric commercial vehicle to be officially sold in both countries. With a 33 kWh battery the Kangoo gives small businesses the opportunity to take advantage of the electric vehicle revolution, reduce operating costs and eliminate transport emissions for round-town deliveries.
Powered by an 66-kilowatt AC synchronous motor functioning on energy stored in a lithium-ion battery pack, the Kangoo boasts approximately 3 m3 load volume and 180km real world driving range.

The Kangoo is equipped with a single Type 2 Mennekes charger port. The Type 2 Mennekes connector is what will typically be used at home and at destination chargers. Note, Renault doesn't supply the car with an EVSE or wall charger, only a charge cable.

The Type 2 to type 1 cable will charge your Renault Kangoo ZE up to 3.3kw or 20 km for every hour of charge, an essential cable for every Type 1 or J1772 vehicle to enable safe and secure charging from public ‘Universal’ charge points.
There is a trend for public electric car charge points to be universal or socketed; this means the point has no in-built cable.
