What the Jaguar I-Pace electric car lacks in trick ‘falcon-wing’ doors, it makes up with arguably superior style, interior, performance and a better drive.
The 90 kWh battery pack is mounted low in the chassis which not only gives a low centre of gravity but also near 50/50 weight distribution.
The dual motor system produces up to 294kW, plus a whopping 696Nm which is enough for a 0-100km/h sprint of just 4.8 seconds and a limited top speed of 200km/h. Impressive!
We reckon this is the new classic...the Jaguar I-Pace will one day be looked upon as a landmark car in Jaguar’s history, a car as important as the original E-Type.
The Jaguar I-Pace s is equipped with a CCS2 Combo / Type 2 Mennekes connector. The Type 2 Mennekes connector is what’s typically used at home and at destination chargers.
